Why this water tracker works

Drinking enough water fails on memory, not willpower — you simply forget until you’re already thirsty. Eight little squares per day sit there as a quiet prompt, and colouring one in each time you drink turns hydration into a satisfying, visible streak rather than a thing you keep meaning to do.

How to use it

  1. Print the PDF (US Letter or A4) and keep it where you’ll see it — desk, fridge, water bottle.
  2. Write the date on each row.
  3. Colour in a glass every time you drink. Aim to fill the row by bedtime.

Pairs well with: Habit Tracker · Sleep Tracker · Mood Tracker

Questions

How much water does each square represent?+

One glass — aim for the eight across the row each day. If you measure in bottles or litres, just relabel the columns to match how you actually drink.

Why track water at all?+

Because most of us forget, not refuse. A visible row of empty glasses is a gentle reminder, and ticking them off makes a vague intention into an easy daily win.
